South Leeds investment strengthened by prestigious VILLAGE hotel and leisure club
South Leeds is to benefit from the development of Yorkshire's newest hotel
and leisure club, the prestigious Village South Leeds, now well underway at Tingley and due to open in September.
The new Village hotel, which represents a total investment of £20 million, is set to open on Capitol Park West by Junction 28 of the M62.
The property is only the second Village hotel and leisure club in the UK to use a new design blueprint and is part of a significant £60 million investment strategy. The four storey building’s stunning modern design will herald a new look for Village properties featuring clean lines, sleek glass and wooden cladding.
Gary Davis, Village CEO commented on the development´s progress: "Work is now well under way to ensure this magnificent new hotel becomes a major part of the community here in South Leeds. The hotel´s location and its facilities, including the leisure club, restaurant, meeting rooms, bar and cafe facilities are sure to make it a huge hit with local people and businesses. We have even introduced a Starbucks where all visitors can enjoy a coffee and snack in a relaxing environment. We really hope that the opening will bring something different for everyone to enjoy throughout Leeds and the surrounding areas of Tingley, Morley, Dewsbury and Wakefield.”
In addition to Starbucks, the hotel also boasts a ´Verve Grill and Oven´ restaurant, an informal ´Victory Pub and Kitchen´, a state of the art Health & Fitness Club, and the HUB hi-tech conference and meetings facilities built over two storeys.
The hotel itself boasts 115 contemporary bedrooms featuring comfortable beds, wall-mounted TVs, i-pod docking stations and free Wi-Fi. There is also free Wi-Fi internet access throughout the whole hotel.
