About Vinny & Vito
There is a secret to great Italian family dining. A formula so simple, with ingredients so rare to find in one place. Welcome to Vinny & Vito’s Italian Kitchen. Two not-so-regular Italianos over here, cooking up classic Italian fayre in the only way they know how, with their own secret formula.
Vinny brings the love of life. He brings the vino. He brings the spirit. Vito brings the finest ingredients. The obsession for simple dishes done like their mamma did, and their mamma's mamma always did.
We all need a little Vinny and a little Vito in our lives.

Many years ago in a small town off the beaten track in the region of Tuscany, lived two brothers - Vinny & Vito. They lived with their Mamma & Papa on a farm, with its own vineyard, making their very own wine & growing the freshest produce for miles around. They had the finest of meals a delight for family & visitors alike. Mamma was the finest cook in town, some would say in all of Tuscany, & her legendary homemade tomato sauce recipe is still the talk of the town to this day! Being such different people, Vinny felt that Vito was the apple of everyone’s eye that he could do no wrong. Vinny not so & hot-footed it out of town on his Vespa. Meanwhile, Vito, at home was the perfect family-man, a pillar of society & sobriety. So Vinny was off, to England, to rock’n’roll, to The Beatles! To the swinging sixties. Unbeknownst to him his Pappa was becoming very unwell. Years later, Pappa passed away, Vinny was insolable & decided not to return home to Tuscany. Much to the displeasure of the family, feeling he didn’t care & had cut all ties once & for all. A few years later Mamma too took poorly, this was Vinny’s last chance to be with Mamma. Vito made the decision to travel to the UK to persuade Vinny to come home while Uncle “Two-toes” Tony was looking after Mamma at home. Vinny returned home. This lifted Mamma’s spirits, growing stronger every day to see her beloved boys back together. An elderly lady she still cooks to this day keeping a watchful eye over Vinny & Vito in the trattoria in the town. Vinny pours the wine, talks to the ladies, tells tales of more swinging times. Vito hard at work in the kitchen bringing to life amazing pizza & pasta as only he knows how – just like his mamma made it.
