  • What events are taking place at Village this year?
  • This year Village Hotels have a full calendar of festive events taking place throughout December - including Christmas Wonderland Party Nights with live entertainment and late bar; Tribute Acts; Festive menus for Christmas Day & Boxing Day; New Year's Eve ...and more!   • Is there a maximum no. of people I can book for?
  • We anticipate the full relaxation of Covid restrictions for Christmas 2021. Subject to availability, there will be no restriction on party size with larger parties being allocated multiple tables. Our event spaces can also be hired out for private events for up to 400 people (capacities vary by location). In the event that government guidelines are in place, Village Hotels will abide by such guidance and notify guests accordingly.
  • Can I book a private party at Village?
  • Yes - as well as the calendar of events throughout December, our party rooms and event spaces are available to hire for private events. To discuss your requirements please email us at
  • Will I get a refund if the event is cancelled due to covid?
  • Yes, the Force Majeure clause in the terms and conditions will mean a full refund will be issued should Village Hotels need to cancel your event for any reason.
  • Will I get a refund if I have to self-isolate or fall ill due to Covid?
  • In the event that any guest has to isolate or is ill due to Covid 19, the cost of their individual booking can either be transferred and offset against a future event or fully refunded, provided that not less than 48 hours prior notice is given to Village. In the event guests provide less than 48 hours of a cancellation from the commencement of the booking then the cost of their individual booking can be transferred and offset against a future alternative event but will not be refunded. Evidence of a valid NHS Test and Trace notification will be required to be provided by the individual to Village for the terms of this clause to apply.
  • Is a deposit required?
  • A non-refundable deposit of £10 per person will be required at the time of booking for all festive events. To secure the booking, the final balance should be paid no later than 31st October 2021. In the event of a booking being made after 31st October 2021, the full payment is required at the time of booking. Payments can be made at any time by logging into your online account and hitting the 'Pay Now' button. Details can be found on your email confirmation.

  • I am trying to pay balance for Christmas party but can't find a contact number. How do I pay?
  • You would have been sent an email with a link to follow for payment. If you can't locate this then please email with the hotel and event you have booked, the date and the name the booking was made under. We will then re-send you your payment link.
  • Can I cancel my booking?
  • In the unfortunate event that you have to cancel your booking, the following terms shall apply - for bookings made before 31st October 2021 and cancelled on or before 13st October 2021, Village is entitled to retain a £10 deposit per person for each booking. If you cancel your booking after the 31st October 2021, the full payment will be retained. Any new bookings made from 01 November 2021 are non refundable. Please note that the above terms do not apply to accommodation bookings. Please see T&C's for full information.
  • What age can I buy a child ticket?
  • Children 2 years and under eat free. Child tickets can be purchased for children 14 years and under
  • Can we pre-order drinks?
  • Yes, drinks can be purchased in advance for Christmas Wonderland Party Nights and Tribute Events. Pre-orders can only be made at the time of booking.
  • When will food orders be taken for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Eve?
  • Guests booked to attend our events on Christmas Day and Boxing Day will be contacted in advance to place food orders for all guests who will be attending. Please ensure you supply a valid email address at the time of booking, so that you can be contacted.
  • Will Santa make an appearance on Christmas Day?
  • Yes, provding Covid restrictions are not in place for Christmas 2021, Father Christmas will make a visit to Village Hotels on Christmas Day.
  • Will tables be dressed for Christmas Day?
  • Yes, guests will enjoy our 'Winter Wonderland' theme for 2021, making you feel festive with crackers and decorations.
  • Is there a time limit in place on table reservations?
  • Guests attending our Boxing Day and New Year's Day lunches will be allocated a 2 hour window to dine (2 sittings being served). On Christmas Day and New Year's Eve guests are welcome to relax and enjoy their festive feast for as long as they wish (within event operating hours).
  • Is there a children's menu?
  • Yes - a Young Person's Menu is available for those aged 3-12 years. Children 2 years and under eat free from the Young Person's Menu. View our menus at
  • What age restrictions are in place for child tickets?
  • Child tickets can be purchased for children aged 3- 12 years old. Children 2 years and under eat free.
  • Do you have to have a covid passport to attend a christmas party?
  • As it currently stands in England, no covid passport is required to attend a Village Christmas Party. In Scotland and Wales, so long as the music and dancing finish at midnight, no passport is currently required. The late bar can, however, remain open. An update will be given as each government makes announcements over the coming weeks.
  • What covid measures are in place to keep us safe?

  • Are there any family friendly events?
  • Families are welcome to join the festive celebrations on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Christmas Party Nights, & Festive Family Lunches. Tribute Events and New Year's Eve celebrations are strictly adults only.
  • Can I get a discount on accommodation for my event?
  • Yes - festive event bookers receive a 10% discount on accommodation bookings, on the night of their event. Full details will be provided, including details of how to book, on your booking confirmation email. In addition, a special new year's eve package is available to book which includes event tickets and accommodation. Take a look at for details.
  • I have special dietary requirement - what are my food options?
  • If you or any of your party have any special dietary requirements, including food allergies or intolerances, please inform Village and we will endeavour to accommodate your requirements. A vegetarian option is available for all events. Village cannot guarantee that dishes do not contain nuts or nut derivatives or that fish products are totally free from bones.
  • What time do the Christmas Party Nights start and when does the music start?
  • You can arrive from 7pm, take your seats at 7.30pm with dinner served from 8pm and the dancing starting after dinner around 9.30pm.
  • How many people can sit at a table?
  • We anticipate the full relaxation of Covid restrictions for Christmas 2021 and therefore do not envisage any restrictions on number of people per table, subject to space and availability in the Inspiration Suite. Please note that large groups may be assigned multiple adjacent tables. In the event that government guidelines are in place, Village Hotels will abide by such guidance and notify guests accordingly.
  • I booked the Christmas party night but I have booked for too many people can I change it and get a refund?
  • Please email with details of the event you are attending, the hotel and attendee numbers and we will try to help. Bookings made prior to 31st December, the deposit will be retained.
  • I have just booked Christmas Day Lunch and paid deposit but haven't received a confirmation email, can you confirm the booking?
  • Please email your contact details along with the hotel you have booked to
  • Will we get any paperwork for a confirmed Christmas booking?
  • You should have received a confirmation at the time of booking and we will be updating you in due course about your event. If for any reason you did not receive your confirmation, please email your contact details along with the hotel you have booked to stating the event that you are attending
  • Does Village accept cash payments?
  • No - Village Hotels is a cash-free venue, unfortunately, cash can no longer be accepted at our hotels. All major credit cards can be accepted.
  • What food will be served at our event?
  • Menus for all event types can be downloaded at Pre-orders for food are required for all events where a choice menu is offered (customers will be contacted by email before the event to confirm your food choices). Where a food order is not provided a set meal of the day will be served.
  • What time slot can I have in the Pub and Grill on Christmas Day?
  • Time slots will be allocated between 1 - 2pm to allow for guests to arrive in a staggered fashion. We will contact you in December to advise of your specific arrival time.
  • As a member of the village gym, do I get the 25% discount on the Christmas Dinner?
  • No, the 25% discount is not applicable to the Christmas event tickets but will apply to drinks you buy at the bar
  • Can I use my Village Gym or VWorks discount at festive events?
  • Ticket prices are not discounted for Village Gym or VWorks members, however members are welcome to use their discount for drinks on the night of the event at the event bar and Pub & Grill. Please be aware that member discounts cannot be applied to pre-ordered drinks packages for party nights and tribute events at the time of booking.
  • What is the 30 people or more booker offer?
  • Booker goes free - 1 free ticket and a bottle of fizz will be given to the booker for qualifying group bookings. New bookings only. Offer applies to bookings made for 30 people or more, taken by a sales agent. This offer does not apply to booking made online. To qualify full payment must be received no later than 31st October 2021. Offer only available to bookers aged 18 or over. Subject to availability. No alternatives will be offered
  • Can I top up gift card to use at the bar?
  • Gift cards can't be topped up but new cards can be purchased at
  • Can I buy cocktails on Christmas Day?
  • Yes, cocktails will be available on Christmas Day and at all our Christmas events
  • Do I pay for parking if I am attending a party night & staying at the hotel?
  • No, parking will be included.
