Flexible Booking Terms whilst our hotels are closed
In order to comply with the new measures issued by the Government to help contain the spread of Covid-19, our hotels are temporarily closed. We are currently not taking reservations up to and including 3rd July 2020 for our hotels in England, 12th July for our hotels in Wales (including Chester St David’s) and 14th July for our hotels in Scotland. The following terms apply during our close down period.
EXISTING RESERVATIONS UP TO HOTEL OPENING DATES
The following terms apply during our close down period. Applicable to all reservations with a scheduled arrival date up to 3rd July 2020 for our hotels in England, 12th July for our hotels in Wales (including Chester St David’s) and 14th July for our hotels in Scotland.
Given the temporary closure of our hotels, we have automatically cancelled any reservation with an arrival date on a date we are closed. You do not need to contact us to cancel your reservation.
For anyone who has already paid for their stay (for the period up to our planned open dates), we are in the process of contacting all guests that we hold a valid email address for, to give them the chance to rebook for a future date (up to 30th June 2021) or cancel their reservation. Where a payment has already been taken and you wish to cancel, a full refund will be made. Due to the volume of transactions currently taking place, please allow up to 10 working days from your booked arrival date for the payment to be processed.
NEW & EXISTING RESERVATIONS BEYOND HOTEL OPENING DATES
Flexible rates - our normal cancellation policy applies to flexible rates. Your booking can be cancelled or amended up to 7pm the day prior to arrival.
Pre-paid, saver rates - guests booked on a prepaid, non refundable rate, and expected to arrive on or before 31st December 2020, will be able to modify their booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled date of arrival. Subject to availability and subject to the following terms:
Guests can move the date of their reservation to a new date, arriving up to and including 30th June 2021
In the event that an alternative date is not available we will check availability at another Village hotel and transfer the booking to a different hotel.
For all modifications requested within this period, the standard modification fee will be waived and any difference in rate for the new booking will be payable by the customer.
Changes can be made up to 48 hours from the day of arrival
We will continue to monitor Government guidance in terms of our planned opening dates and contact guests if any changes are made that impact their booking.
Bookings made on promotional rates remain on a non refundable and non transferable basis.
