There was a big welcome for the big day at Village Blackpool, as school secretary and now Mum of three Naomi Holt tied the knot with husband Andrew and a hundred or so friends and family. That was back in the 90s, and the pair have been visiting Village hotels frequently ever since.
Celebrating through till breakfast
“Village Blackpool’s location was perfect for our wedding. Guests had travelled from across the country and stayed the night, all under one roof. So the celebrations continued to the small hours and again during breakfast.
The whole package
“An amazing thing about Village Blackpool is the grounds - we had great weather and the gardens were lovely for the wedding photographs. The staff were fantastic, too - they arranged a whole package for us, including a brilliant DJ and a terrific buffet.
Village Blackpool also has a lovely spa for a bit of pre-wedding pampering - or post-wedding recovery. The gym has great facilities and even an on-site 18-hole golf course. Not that we found the time to use those during the wedding celebrations!
We’ve often been to Village Hotels since, and always had a great time. We’ve stayed at Village Coventry and Village Wolverhampton on business, and we were recently at Village Leeds North for fun. On that last trip we headed straight to the shops (Leeds is great for shopping) and had dinner and drinks in the hotel.
We’ll definitely be back to Village Hotels in the future - probably when there’s a deal on!”
The original seaside - A unique wedding venue
Good old Blackpool is the home of the traditional British summer holiday, and there’s still so much to do today. Village Blackpool is right next to the zoo, and a short drive from the Tower, the trams and the Pleasure Beach. For your wedding - and the all-important pre-wedding warm-up - it’s just a stagger (or a quick taxi ride) from hundreds of great nightspots.
