“When my other half’s company held their Christmas party at Village Hyde, we decided to stay the night rather than have the half hour taxi ride home. Since it was a treat, we went for the Club Room, and I got there early so we could use the sauna and steam room at the spa. I have to say, the pool at the Hyde hotel is the best I’ve been to!
A HOME AWAY FROM HOME
The atmosphere is so cosy in the hotel, especially with the big open fire. With that and the lovely friendly staff, it really feels like a home away from home.
The company had put on a three-course meal for the staff, and there was a DJ and disco afterwards. It was a busy night, with a few different companies celebrating together. Everyone was merry though so that didn’t matter! Lots of people who live nearby use Village Hyde as their local pub too, so it really feels like part of the community.
A WARM WELCOME
We’ve stayed at Village Ashton hotel near Manchester before too, and we’re going back in April to stay after the Take That concert. And we’ve already decided to stay at Hyde again after this year’s Christmas do!”
The vibrant city of Manchester is a northern powerhouse boasting great architecture, one of the most famous football clubs in the world and a huge creative scene. Bursting at the seams with culture and a buzzing nightlife to boot, why not make Manchester the location for your next weekend away?
Village Hyde is situated around 8 miles east of Manchester, in the county of Cheshire. The town of Hyde grew in population due to cotton mills and coal mining, though its most famous landmark is Newton Hall – a medieval timber-framed hall that’s one of the oldest buildings in the region.
For a peaceful stay near the city, or a pit stop as you pass through Cheshire, you’ll always feel welcome at the Village Manchester Hyde hotel.
