A wake traditionally takes place on the day of or shortly after the funeral service, providing a space for family and friends to gather, support one another, and share memories. A celebration of life is a broader term, relating to a gathering that can be held at any time, sometimes weeks or months after the passing, with a strong celebratory tone, focusing on the person’s life and legacy rather than the loss. Village Hotels accommodates both, with flexible private spaces and tailored catering available at hotels across the UK.

Yes, parking is available for guests. Free for up to 4 hours. Thereafter local charges apply between Monday and Thursday. Parking is £5 per day on Friday to Sunday.
