Overview

We (VUR Village Trading No.1 Limited) are pleased to support registered charities through our 10% Bar Takings Donation initiative. The following terms and conditions apply to all charity partners booking a function or event with Village Hotels. All events are subject to our normal terms and conditions

1. Eligibility

• The charity must be registered with the Charity Commission and have a registered charity number.

• Proof of charitable status may be requested at any time.

2. Calculation of Donation

• The donation amount will be calculated as 10% of total Bar takings (net of VAT) for the agreed date(s) or event.

• "Bar takings" refers to all revenue from drinks sold during the agreed time period, excluding food, merchandise, and ticket sales (unless otherwise agreed in writing).

• The calculation will be based on till records and/or management accounts.

• Is included for Meetings & Events bar takings only - Pub & Grill and pre-contracted beverage does not apply.

3. Payment Terms

• Donations will be paid within 45 days of the event or promotional period or as soon as reasonably practicable after the event.

• Payment will be made via bank transfer to the charity’s official account.

4. Transparency

• A summary of Bar takings and the calculated donation amount will be shared with the charity upon request. Both parties agree to maintain honest and transparent reporting.

5. Limitations & Exclusions

• We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule the event in the case of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., venue closure, force majeure).

• No minimum donation is guaranteed — the amount depends entirely on actual Bar takings from the Meetings and Events function bar only. Pub & Grill or any other means of ordering is excluded.

6. Acceptance

• By participating in the 10% Bar Takings Donation initiative, the Charity agrees to these terms and conditions.

7. Raffle Prize

• As part of this initiative we agree to offer the following Raffle Prize;

• Raffle Prize will be 2-Night weekend break, Bed and Breakfast for up to 2 people sharing 1 room at a Village Hotel of their choice.
   

Village Hotels M&E Bar Charity Donations - Prize Voucher Terms and Conditions

• The prize will be issued as a voucher by VUR Village Trading No.1 Limited ("Village") to the winner, as communicated by the event organiser.

• The voucher is valid for a period of 6 months from its issue date.

• Voucher redemption for stays at a Village Hotel is subject to availability. A specific date for booking at any Village Hotel is not guaranteed. Winners are advised to have a selection of preferred dates and hotels ready when checking availability.

• This voucher is non-transferable, holds no monetary value, is non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash or other denominated vouchers.

• Village is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers, and no replacements will be issued.

• Standard Village Hotels terms and conditions apply to all stays.
