At Village Portsmouth our 2019 charity partnership will be with Football for Cancer and we will be providing every member of all 25 teams within the tournament the opportunity to train at our state-of-the-art hotel gym.
We admire the work Cancer for Football does and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to help each team get physically fit in our gym facilities prior to the tournament.
We are currently working alongside local colleges to provide their hospitality students with first hand work experience within a busy hotel.
Employers always ask students for work experience and we are dedicated to helping and supporting the younger generation within our local community to achieve their dream jobs through experience and indispensable knowledge.
Our hotel in Portsmouth recently became a flagship partner of The Final Straw Solent campaign, announcing that it will eliminate all unnecessary plastic packaging from its business and pledging staff time to beach cleans across the Solent.
The hotel hopes to set an example to local businesses and provide support on how to cut back on plastic consumed.
Village Hotel Portsmouth became Rural Running’s main event sponsor last year, with the team from Village Gym hosting pre-race day number collections and providing pre-race warm-ups, as well as a range of giveaways for racers through the year, including exclusive membership offers.
