Travel restrictions and local lockdown 

Village Hotels is committed to keeping our guests safe, and our hotels Covid compliant. This means that as well as enhanced cleaning protocols you can expect some changes to guest services, including unfortunately the closure of some of our hotels and local restrictions.

Please review all local restrictions applicable to your stay before travelling. Guests due to stay with us in the coming weeks should read IMPORTANT GUEST INFORMATION HERE.   

ENGLAND

During the lockdown period taking place across England between 5th Nov and 1st Dec, our hotels in England will only be open and available for bookings taken from Key Workers and Essential Business Travellers.    

Unfortunately none of our hotels will be able to accommodate leisure guests during lockdown. For guests with an upcoming reservation (booked on a promotional package or leisure rate), you do not need to contact us. We will automatically cancel your reservation and give you the chance to rebook or cancel. If you choose to cancel and payment has already been taken, a full refund will be issued. Please allow 10 working days from the date of your reservation for this to be made. Find out more here

We are planning for the safe opening of our hotels in England on 2nd December and will operate in line with the new tier system that will be introduced.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - NHS TEST AND TRACE 

To help stop the spread of COVID-19 and support public health we are required to collect contact information for all customers and visitors to Village Hotels. NHS Test & Trace require us to collect this data from the lead booker of each group or party and record the time, date, name & contact number. NHS Test and Trace will ask us for these records only where it is necessary, either because someone who has tested positive for COVID-19 has listed our premises as a place they visited recently, or because our premises have been identified as the location of a potential local outbreak of COVID-19. Your data will be kept only for this purpose and will be retained securely for 21 days and shared securely with the NHS if required.
