A recommendation that’s choc-full of fun for a family day out from follower, Nicola. Cadbury World tells the story of Cadbury and the history of chocolate through interactive displays and exhibits. Learn all about how the Cadbury bars are made, including the origins of the cocoa bean, play in chocolate rain before tucking into a pot of melted Cadbury Dairy Milk. Delicious! The kids will love the 4D Chocolate Adventure cinema experience, where they can head on an adventure with Freddo, dive into a bowl of Dairy Milk, ride on a Crunchie Rollercoaster and reach new heights in a Creme Egg airship with pilot, Caramel Bunny. Plus, the chance to meet the famous drumming gorilla! With so much to discover, you’re going to need a comfy bed for the night! Book your break at Village Hotel Dudley.
‘’Always stay at Village Hotels and Dudley didn’t let us down when we returned last year, for my little boy's birthday trip’’.

Green spaces may not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think of a trip to industrial Manchester, but there are plenty of spots to head to for a breath of fresh air and beautiful scenery - you really do have the best of both Worlds! Check out this stunning shot of Peel Tower, standing 128 feet high, at the top of Holcombe Hill, Bury - sent in by our Facebook follower, Jack. A short drive from Village Hotel Bury, Holcombe Hill offers exceptional views across Manchester, the North West and North Wales, woodland areas and riverside walks. Peel Tower was erected in commemoration of Sir Robert Peel, 1834 and 1841 Prime Minister who established the Metropolitan Police Service. There are lots of walking routes nearby, and the views from the top of the tower are well worth the 148 step climb.
‘’Peel Tower is just a short trip away from Village Bury, lovely sunrise views and beautiful countryside meanderings.’’
